Soft, chaste, the things they were all promised in fairytales and Logan can practically taste Kendall’s smile against him, like he’s tasting his own happiness in Kendall’s. self-indulgent fic because kendall kissed logan and people saw it.
See, you can count just how many times you’ve lived in your life by your scratches and marks and distinct changes. And Erica has been marked all over: the laugh lines on her face, the subtle progression of make-up, the cut of her hair, the callousness of her hands that give away the time she’s spent holding other hands with them or drawing or whatever it is she does now (she drew when I knew her).
I keep reassuring myself that one day I’ll have as much marks myself, that maybe after graduation I’ll be fine, I’ll be marked. Then there’s another voice in my head that argues that says no.
